In my 20 years as a personal trainer, I have worked with a wide variety of clients - from elite, high performance athletes, to business executives, to people wanting to engage in a healthy lifestyle. Each client brings with them a different set of performance and outcome goals, as well as unique personalities and lifestyles. This is where I believe that I excel as a trainer - being able to create, adapt and mold my programs to best suit the clients' diverse needs, wants, and goals.
I have provided personalized swimming and hockey goaltending lessons for children and youth, have worked on the strength and mobility required for daily-living activities for senior clients, and have trained and coached just about everyone in between.
I have helped clients achieve personal bests in running, qualify for selection to national teams, achieve healthy weights, build their overall strength, recover from surgery or injury, and - most importantly - build their confidence and feel stronger in their daily lives. The ability to improve the quality of life, confidence, and health of my clients is what keeps me motivated and inspires me to continue this work.
Training Philosophy:
I understand that each client is different, has different training goals, and has a different starting point in terms of their health and fitness.
By following smart training principles, a constant belief in my clients, and ongoing positive feedback, I am able to help a wide range of people achieve their goals.
